Welcome to the Old Gaytonians Golf Society’s Web Site. The site shows those responsible, some of the trophies, picks out the most interesting aspects of the past year and details forthcoming events. It is suspected that the major interest in this site will come from Old Gayts, the odd golfer and, most probably, the odd Old Gayts golfer (and most are very odd).
Old Gaytonians are a product of what was originally Harrow County School for Boys in Harrow, Middlesex.
The Golf Society had its inaugural meeting at Porters Park Golf Club in Radlett, Hertfordshire, in 1938. It has had a few breaks since then but is now the only Old Gaytonian sports section in being; the unfortunate continual reorganisation of our education system, and thus the School structure, having taken its toll in the past 20-odd years.
